Spelling: Busy Bee Spelling Bee

This is great for a class with a lot of energy!
Make alphabet letter cards on 8x10 pieces of posterboard. (You may want to laminate them for reuse.) Hand the letters out randomly around the classroom until all are gone. The instructor says the spelling word, and the students must run to the front of the classroom and spell the word correctly. Those without the correct letters can watch from their seats and help ensure the spelling is right. This game can get a little loud and crazy, but they love it and they are learning.
