If you want your students to learn words really fast try mnemosyne on sourceforge.net. There are also other programs that do a better job explaining how to improve memory like www.supermemo.com, and www.fullrecall.com. I like to use mnemosyne more than the others because it is free supports the further understanding of memory, and it seems to be the fasterst program I have found. It really does work!
