Reading: HARRY POTTER

Copy chapter 1 from J.K. Rowling's book "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" or download this chapter from the internet (there are several sites with sample chapters from the Harry Potter series).
Select 3 passages from one chapter and make your own reading test by making your own multiple choice questions, "normal" questions and vocabulary questions. In addition to the usual, traditional questions, add some creative assigments, like making an interview with Harry Potter with the information they get from the passages you as a teacher selected from the first chapter. It might be more fun to your pupils, because Harry Potter is a hot issue at the moment of course, so it's probably more fun to read it and make reading tests about than the usual, dull texts that can be found in coursebooks.
