Private Teaching: Trickily Reviewing Vocabulary

I tutor Japanese children one-on-one. I find that children ages 8-12 really like to write stories and its an easy way to teach correct sentences. In order to guide what they write about I give them a blank piece of paper with 8-12 words, usually words we have studied and need to review. They have to use all of the words in their story. Makes for some interesting stories and the kids love the challenge.
