Private Teaching: Memory with Homonyms

#Author#
I think this is best suited for beginner levels. It is simply the card game MEMORY with a bit of a twist.
First, you'll need to produce cards with matching homonyms on them eg. eight/ate, sail/sale, wait/weight, etc). My deck has 40 cards. To play: shuffle and lay the cards down face down. One player will then have a turn flipping over a card of choice. Read aloud each card as it is flipped over. If the cards match, that player keeps that pair and has another turn. Play until all the cards are matched. The winner is the one with the most cards! (This game could also be made for matching pictures with words, irregular verbs (eg. matching present/past tenses), etc.)
