Listening: Listening Crossword Puzzles

I found that many of my high school students really like crossword puzzles, so I decided turn them into listening practice instead of just reading. So, I give them the blank crossword and verbally give the clues to the puzzle. I use recent vocabulary words and turn it into a review. It also gives students a way of defining words by using English instead of translating into their native language. The really great thing about this is that it can be customized to fit any level of English.
