Internet: Internet scavenger hunts

Try making an internet scavenger hunt for your kids. You can have them hunt for imformation on a certain topic, a picture of a famous person, dates of Holidays, meanings of words (at a dictionary site) etc. They can search for these things from a search English (like google). This is a good way to introduce kids to important web sites in English and if it's their first time using the internet you should suggest sites for them.

If your kids are less advanced or you have less time, find one good page that highlights something cultural, like a holiday. Have them find answers to questions you formed about the page.
