Haven Christian School exists by the Lord and for the Lord. We desire our students to live joyful lives in Christ and discover their God-given gifts to serve Him faithfully.

Haven Christian School (www.haven.or.kr) is seeking Christian teachers, either native English speakers or bilingual (Korean-English), to join our faculty beginning March 1, 2027.

Our school follows a Korean-based curriculum supplemented by several core English classes. Located in Gwacheon City, one of the most desirable places to live in South Korea, Haven Christian School has been serving students for 19 years. We currently have approximately 265 students (Grades 1–12) and a faculty of 40 teachers.

Each school day begins with Quiet Time (QT), Bible reading, and prayer. Our faculty consists of committed Christians, and the majority of our students come from Christian families.

We Are Looking For

• Korean Nationals (Bilingual in Korean and English)

• Korean Americans (F-4 Visa)

• F-6 Visa Holders (Marriage Visa)

• F-2 or F-5 Visa Holders

Position Description

We are seeking teachers with a missionary heart who are passionate about teaching middle and high school students from a Christian worldview. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in English, Education, or a related field.

Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Monthly salary: 2.5–3.2 million KRW (depending on qualifications and experience)

2. Annual bonuses totaling approximately 3 million KRW (including semester and holiday bonuses)

3. 6–8 weeks of paid vacation per year (approximately 3–4 weeks in summer and 3–4 weeks in winter)

4. School holidays include all national holidays, Teachers' Day, Chuseok, and Christmas break

5. A furnished single or couple apartment will be provided. Housing deposit and rent are covered by the school; utilities are the responsibility of the teacher.

6. 50% contribution toward National Health Insurance and National Pension, plus severance pay in accordance with Korean labor law

7. Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

8. Approximately 20 teaching hours per week
