Haven Christian School is seeking dedicated teachers to join our team beginning March 1, 2027.

Located in Gwacheon, one of the most desirable places to live in South Korea, Haven has been serving students for 19 years. We currently serve approximately 265 students in Grades 1–12, with a faculty and staff of around 40.

Our school follows a Korean-based curriculum supplemented by core and elective English classes. Our daily morning routine includes quiet time (QT), Bible study, and prayer. Our faculty is made up of dedicated Christians, and the majority of our students come from Christian families.

• Science: Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
• English: Reading and Writing

Eligible Applicants

• Korean-English bilingual candidates
• Korean-American candidates holding an F-4 visa
• Candidates holding an F-6, F-2, or F-5 visa
• Please note: We are unable to sponsor E-2 or E-7 visas for these positions.

We are looking for teachers with a missionary heart who are passionate about teaching middle and high school students from a Christian worldview. We especially welcome candidates who are committed to an active life of faith, regularly attend a Protestant church, and serve their church and local community.

A degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred. Previous teaching experience is an advantage but is not required.

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Monthly Salary: KRW 2.5–3.2 million
2. Annual Bonuses: KRW 3 million in total, including semester and holiday bonuses
3. Paid Vacation: 6–8 weeks per year, including 3–4 weeks in summer and 3–4 weeks in winter
4. School Holidays: National public holidays, Teachers' Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the Christmas break
5. Insurance and Pension: The school covers 50% of the national health insurance and national pension contributions
6. Severance Pay: Provided in accordance with applicable Korean law
7. Housing: A single-occupancy apartment
8. Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
9. Teaching Load: 20 teaching hours per week
