About Valor Preparatory Seoul

Welcome to Valor Preparatory Seoul, our new early childhood education campus in Gangnam, Seoul. As part of the growing Valor Global network, which began with our flagship secondary boarding school in Anseong in 2018, we're excited to extend our educational vision to younger learners. Our network now includes campuses in Beaverton, Oregon, and the Philippines, with Valor Preparatory Seoul serving Pre-K through Grade 6.

Our Vision and Mission

At Valor Preparatory Seoul, we believe every great journey begins with a small act of courage. Our mission is to provide transformative Christian education that shapes young hearts and minds through academic excellence, character development, and spiritual formation. We create a nurturing environment where children can discover their unique identity and embrace their innate bravery.

Christian Foundation

All staff members are required to affirm and model our Christian statement of faith, integrating biblical principles into their teaching and daily interactions with students, families, and colleagues.

Campus Launch

Our inaugural academic year begins on September 1st, 2025. Staff orientation and campus preparation will commence on August 13th, 2025, providing three weeks of thorough preparation and professional development to ensure a strong start to our academic program.

Educational Continuity

Valor Preparatory Seoul creates a seamless educational pathway within the Valor Global network, allowing students to progress from early childhood education through secondary school while maintaining consistent values, educational philosophy, and academic standards.

Position Overview

Join Valor Preparatory Seoul as a dedicated educator to nurture young minds through our three core pillars: Discovering Identity, Achieving Mastery, and Unleashing Creativity. We seek passionate teachers who will commit to a minimum of two years to help shape the future of education in our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Elementary programs.

Our Educational Philosophy and Curriculum Framework

At Valor Preparatory Seoul, we are proud to partner with the Common Ground Collective (CGC) to implement their innovative curricular continuum. This comprehensive framework is built on three core principles we call the "3 Cs": conceptual understanding, competency, and character - developing learners who are "good with ideas, good with skills, good people."

Our approach integrates these principles through a carefully designed Learning Matrix that connects to our Portrait of a Learner - defining clear transfer goals for each student's educational journey. Through personalized Learning Modules and detailed Learning Maps, we create structured yet flexible pathways that allow each child to grow at their own pace while maintaining high academic standards. Our teaching methods focus on the whole child, using modern tools and regular assessments to help students develop both academic skills and personal strengths, such as confidence and resilience.
