Position Overview

Job Title: Full-Time English Teacher
Location: Jonan-ku, Fukuoka, Japan
Start Date: March 2025 (or mid-year, with contract until March 2026)
Working Hours: 9:20 AM – 6:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Contract Type: Annual, renewable
Monthly Salary: ¥250,000
Probation Period: 3 months
Vacation:

• 12 paid leave days per year
• 2-week summer break
• Winter holiday

What You'll Be Doing

• Teach small group English lessons (mainly for lower elementary)
• Use phonics, reading, writing, and conversation-based approaches
• Plan and lead STEAM-themed hands-on activities
• Engage in meaningful play indoors and outdoors
• Lead mini field trips using English (e.g., grocery shopping, taking a bus)
• Build relationships with students and foster their emotional growth
