RVP Consultants is seeking an experienced Technical English Teacher – Engineering & Technology from the U.S. for a one-month, in-person teaching assignment in Jordan.

You’ll work with students ages 12–18 whose first language is not English, helping them build the Technical English skills needed to communicate, collaborate, and present their ideas as they design and build real-world IoT and sustainable smart city projects.

This is more than a teaching assignment—it’s an opportunity to gain international experience, experience a new culture, and empower the next generation of global innovators.

What You’ll Do

• Teach Technical English for engineering, technology, and STEM.
• Build students’ technical vocabulary, communication, research, and presentation skills.
• Connect English instruction to hands-on IoT, engineering, and smart city projects.
• Assess student progress and provide differentiated learning support.
• Collaborate with on-site STEM coaches and program staff.
• Review Technical English learning materials and assessments.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required; Education, TESOL/TEFL, English, Engineering, Technology, or a STEM field preferred.
• 3–5 years of English teaching experience, ideally with middle- or high-school-aged students.
• Experience teaching Technical English, English for Engineering, or English for STEM to non-native English speakers.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and student-engagement skills.
• Passion for education, youth empowerment, STEM, and global innovation.
• Valid U.S. passport and ability to travel to Jordan for the full assignment.

Preferred: TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification, STEM or technology background, project-based learning experience, and/or prior international or cross-cultural teaching experience.
