Three sections below. The best-paying school we work with, then every school that wants a teacher before the end of this year, then the March 1st intake by region.
New since our last email, both in Gyeonggi-do. Gwanggyo pays round-trip airfare, which most schools do not, and is hiring 2 or 3 for March. Yeongtong, Suwon lets you choose a morning or an afternoon shift, pays up to 3M, and has one seat open now.

⭐ FEATURED IN SEOUL. THE HIGHEST STARTING PAY ON OUR LIST Seongdong-gu, Seoul. 2.8M KRW to start. 2.8M KRW a month to start, and negotiable above that depending on your experience. For context, most schools on our list open between 2.4M and 2.7M. This one starts where the others top out. Hours are 9:00 to 6:40, Monday to Friday. Before you look at that and wince, read the breakdown: 90 minutes of prep time is built into your day, plus a 45-minute lunch and breaks between classes. You are not teaching for nine and a half hours. You would teach Korean kindergarten ages 5 to 7 and elementary grades 1 to 6. There are 10 foreign teachers on staff, and one of them is the vice director, which is unusual and worth knowing. It means someone in management has stood where you are standing. Benefits are the full package: single furnished apartment, round-trip airfare, 11 paid vacation days plus the school's national holidays, severance at the end of the year, half your national health insurance premium, and the monthly pension contribution. Three openings, two timelines. One teacher for late January 2027, and two for March 1st, 2027. Both come with a week of paid training before you start. If you want the January slot, start your documents now, because the visa takes most of that time. One thing to be clear about: the school prefers North American teachers. They will consider teachers from other countries with a clear, soft, international accent, so it is worth applying either way, but I would rather tell you that up front than after an interview. |

A word on timing. The E-2 visa takes several weeks once your documents are in hand, so from today an ASAP start realistically means December. If you want to be teaching in Korea before this year is out, the paperwork needs to start now, not in November. If your apostilles are already done, say so when you apply and we will move you to the front.

Most Korean schools don't post their March positions until October or November. These 14 are open now, which means you pick the city and the school instead of taking what's left in January. Every school in the 2026 list above with a March note is hiring for this intake too.
