WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Monthly Salary: ₩2.2–2.8 million KRW (Hagwons) / ₩2.2–2.7 million KRW (EPIK, based on qualifications)
- Housing: Rent-free studio apartment or housing allowance
- Paid Vacation: 13–15 days (Hagwons) / 26 days + all national holidays (EPIK)
- Flight Allowance: Reimbursed one way
- Severance Pay: One-month salary upon contract completion
- Health Insurance: 50% of national health insurance premiums covered
- Working Hours: 30–35 hours/week (typically Mon–Fri, evenings for Hagwons, mornings/afternoons for EPIK)
- Full-Time Contract: 1-year teaching contract

WHAT IS EPIK?
The English Program in Korea (EPIK) places native English teachers in public schools across Korea. As one of the largest and most reputable government-sponsored teaching programs, EPIK offers:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Native English speaker from a recognized English-speaking country
- Bachelor’s degree (in any field)
- Clean national-level criminal background check
- TEFL/TESOL certification (at least 100 hours) required for EPIK unless degree is in Education
