Have you always wanted to live in Japan while gaining meaningful international work experience? RVF International is currently placing candidates in Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) positions in public schools across Japan. This opportunity is perfect for recent graduates, career changers, or anyone looking for an exciting new adventure abroad.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT), you'll work alongside Japanese teachers to help students improve their English communication skills while introducing them to different cultures and perspectives.

• Full-time position (Monday–Friday)
• Teach elementary, junior high, or high school students
• Team-teach with experienced Japanese teachers
• Focus on conversational English and cultural exchange
• One-year renewable contract

Salary & Benefits

• Starting salary of approximately ¥215,000+ JPY per month (roughly $1,325 USD)

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (any field)
• Native English speaker (or near-native fluency)
• Eligible for a Japanese work visa
• Clean criminal background check
• Positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children

No teaching experience is required.

A TEFL/TESOL certification is recommended and can be completed through RVF International before departure if needed.
