Secondary Humanities Teacher Position in Yangon, Myanmar

Asia Language and British Alma (ALBA International School) is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to teach in Yangon, Myanmar with a September start date.

Job Details:

Secondary position-

1. Years 7-9 Humanities Teacher
2. Work hours of 8:15am-3:45pm, Monday – Friday
3. Contract date: 15^th September 2026 – 15^th March 2027
4. Maximum of 25 contact hours per week

Requirements:

1. Fluent in English
2. A bachelor’s degree in any field of study (Preferably Education)
3. A TESOL, TEFL or CELTA Certificate
4. Two years’ teaching experience (Those with less can still apply)
5. Must be a passport holder of the following countries: UK, USA, Canada, S. Africa, Australia or New Zealand

Job Offer:

1. Salary of $1,700 - $1,900 USD/month
2. Housing provided near the school campus (Central Yangon)
3. Paid sick leave/paid national holidays
4. Airport pick-up and assistance with getting to know the area upon arrival
5. Business visas and work documents for all necessary government forms provided
