RISE Education Korea – Guri and Jookjeon Campus
Location: 1. Guri campus, just east of Seoul, 2. Jookjeon campus, in the city of Yongin south of Seoul
Contract Term: March 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027
Employment Type: Full-time, One-Year Contract (Renewable)
RISE Education Korea is seeking two qualified and professional English Teachers to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to children while supporting the Institute’s educational mission and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Conduct scheduled English classes in accordance with Institute curriculum and standards
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom resources
Write student assessments and progress reports
Participate in team meetings, workshops, training sessions, and special events as required
Communicate and collaborate effectively with Korean teaching staff and administration
Maintain a professional demeanor in interactions with students, parents, and colleagues
Uphold Institute policies regarding conduct, confidentiality, and appearance
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Teaching Load: Up to 124 teaching hours per month
Occasional weekend work may be required for training or special events (up to four times per year)
Paid pre-contract and onboarding training may be required, including:
Zoom training sessions
Video-on-demand (VOD) modules
Orientation and classroom preparation
All required training is compensated and paid with the first salary.
Monthly Salary: Competitive (exact amount disclosed during hiring process)
Overtime Pay: 20,000 KRW per hour (when applicable)
Severance Pay: One month’s salary upon completion of the contract, in accordance with Korean law
National Health Insurance & Pension: Enrollment provided; contributions shared 50/50 as required by Korean law

Furnished single accommodation provided or
Housing allowance
Airfare Reimbursement:
Up to 1,000,000 KRW for first-year teachers arriving from overseas (conditions apply)
National Korean holidays observed
Vacation Days:
11 days for first-year teachers
15 days for renewing teachers
Vacation days may be used for personal leave or sick leave, subject to prior approval
Eligible for an E-2 teaching visa under Korean immigration law
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Clean national criminal background check
Ability to work professionally with children in a structured educational environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to professional appearance and conduct
Classroom activities may be monitored via CCTV for student safety and security
All teaching materials and work products created during employment are the property of the Institute
