Primary Teacher needed in Yangon, Myanmar

Asia Language and British Alma (ALBA) is seeking enthusiastic, Primary Teachers to teach in Yangon, Myanmar for the 2025-2026 academic year (Immediate Start).

Job Details:

Primary positions-

1. English Teacher
2. Work hours of 8:15am-3:45pm, Monday – Friday
3. Contract date: Immediate Start – March 15^th, 2026
4. Maximum of 30 contact hours per week

Weekend positions-

1. ESL classes available for all ages (4yrs-18yrs)
2. Work hours of 9:00am-5:30pm (Part-time positions also available; minimum of 5 hours per week)
3. Contract date: Immediate Start (1 year contract)
4. Maximum of 5-15 contact hours per weekend

Requirements:

1. Fluent in English
2. A bachelor’s degree in any field of study (Preferably Education) and a TEFL, CELTA or TESOL Certificate
3. Two years teaching experience (Those with less can still apply)
4. Must be a citizen of one of the following countries: UK, USA, Canada, S. Africa, Australia or New Zealand

Job Offer:

1. Salary of $1,700 - $1,900 USD/month (Weekend salary is $22/hour)
2. Housing provided near the school campus (Central Yangon)
3. Paid sick leave/paid national holidays
4. Airport pick-up and assistance with getting to know the area upon arrival
5. Business visas and work documents for all necessary government forms provided
