Student level: Beginner to intermediate 

Student age: Mostly elementary, some middle school

Position: Preparing students to join native-English classrooms through content-based instruction. 

Classes: We focus on vocabulary, discussion, and English-language reasoning. We emphasize student participation through activities, and we build supportive relationships through an engaging curriculum that our teachers have a hand in shaping.

Compensation: 

• Salary: starting at 2.8 million won monthly (more for additional experience)
• Vacation: 20 business days
• Bonus: Up to 600K won quarterly performance bonus
• Korean standard package: round-trip airfare, severance bonus (one month’s salary) after completion of a year’s contract, free housing or 500K won stipend, half of healthcare/pension paid

Our school: KnK is a large, independent hagwon in Seongnam City (near Gangnam, Seoul) at Migeum Station with more than a dozen teachers.
