📚 Position Details

• Title: 1:1 or Group English Instructor
• Contract: 3 months ~ 12 months
• Locations: Seoul or Busan
• Schedule:
  • up to 40-hours (attendance only for scheduled classes)
  • Senior teachers average 34–38 teaching hrs/week

1. Employment Contract (E2 Visa, Full-time)

Monthly salary and hourly rates are consistent across regions, with housing support tailored to your location.

• Monthly Base: ₩2,500,000 – ₩3,200,000 (increments of ₩100,000 per year of service)
• Hourly Rate: ₩20,000 – ₩33,000 (adjusted based on 12-month performance reviews)

Housing Support:

Seoul
  • Option A: ₩5,000,000 deposit + ₩200,000/mo
  • Option B (No Housing): Additional ₩400,000/mo

Busan
  • Option A: ₩5,000,000 deposit + ₩250,000/mo
  • Option B (No Housing): Additional ₩500,000/mo

2. Freelance Contract (Korean Teachers, F Visa)

Service rates are structured by performance level, offering high earning potential based on experience and results.

• Level 1: ₩20,000 – ₩27,000 per hour
• Level 2: ₩22,000 – ₩30,000 per hour
• Level 3: ₩24,000 – ₩33,000 per hour

Contract terms and levels are reviewed every 6 months. Level adjustments (upward or downward) are typically managed in 1-step increments, though 2-step movements are possible based on exceptional performance.

💰 Salary & Housing — Pagoda Academy (Group Class)

1. Competitive Salary & Guaranteed Minimum (Full-time, E2 Visa)

• Hourly Rate: ₩20,000 – ₩33,000 (based on experience and evaluations)
• Guaranteed Monthly Minimum: ₩2,500,000 (Seoul) / ₩2,200,000 (Busan)
• Annual Increase: Monthly minimum increases by ₩100,000 per year of tenure (up to ₩3,200,000)

2. Housing Options (Full-time, E2 Visa)

• Option A: ₩10,000,000 company-provided deposit
• Option B: ₩5,000,000 deposit + ₩200,000/mo rent support

3. Performance & Schedule Incentives (Full-time, E2 Visa)

• Quality & Growth: ₩50,000 each for achieving 75%+ re-registration, 10%+ enrollment growth, or 140–160 lecture hours
• Shift Bonuses: ₩100,000 for weekend classes; ₩50,000 for split shifts (10hr+ gap)
• Renewal Bonus: Annual incentives of ₩1,000,000 – ₩2,000,000 based on performance grade (S/A/B)
