Native English Teacher Wanted – Yongin, Singal | 2.3–2.5M KRW + Housing | Start Sept. 21

PAMUS English Language Institute in Singal, Yongin is looking for a friendly, responsible, and experienced native English-speaking teacher to join our team starting September 21, 2026.

We are an established English academy teaching elementary and middle school students in a supportive, organized environment. Our classes focus not only on textbook learning, but also on helping students become confident readers, writers, speakers, and presenters.

Position Details

Salary

• 2.3–2.5 million KRW/month
• Negotiable depending on teaching experience and qualifications

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday
• 1:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• Classes generally run from 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• Approximately 7 classes per day
• Each class is 40 minutes
• A 40-minute break is included during the teaching schedule or during the final class period, depending on the timetable

Location

• Singal, Yongin, Gyeonggi-do
• Approximately 5 minutes from Singal Station

Housing

• Private housing provided
• Approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the academy

Students

• Ages approximately 7–14
• Elementary and middle school students
• Levels range from beginner phonics to intermediate/advanced English

Teaching Areas

Depending on the age and level of the class, lessons may include:

• Phonics & early reading skills
• Story reading and comprehension
• Speaking & conversation
• Grammar and writing
• Project-based writing
• Presentation and speaking skills

We also regularly give students opportunities to actively use English through Show & Tell, storytelling, projects, writing activities, and presentations.

Who We’re Looking For

We would love to meet a teacher who:

• Is a native English speaker and eligible for an E-2 visa
• Enjoys working with elementary and middle school students
• Is reliable, positive, and comfortable managing a classroom
• Can actively engage students rather than simply teach from a textbook
• Has previous ESL/hagwon teaching experience (preferred)
• Is currently living in Korea (strongly preferred)
• Is available for an in-person interview and a smooth transition into the position (over the zoom online is also okay)

Previous teaching experience is preferred, especially experience with Korean elementary or middle school students. However, we are also open to applicants who show strong classroom skills, responsibility, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching.
