REQUIREMENTS
Visas - In order to teach in South Korea, the following visas allow you to do so in Korea:
1. E2 visa: The Republic of Korea government requires that criminal records checks, a health certificate, and U.S. diplomas must be submitted with E-2 visa applications or extensions.
Korean Immigration will ONLY accept an FBI criminal records check or a local police department letter from your city or state of residence.
You should have these documents ready before coming to Korea to teach.
2. F type visas: These visas are all linked towards permanent residencies.
If you possess these visas than you are allowed to work without any visa restrictions.
Documentation - When applying for a E2 visa you will need the following documents in order to submit an application
Numbers 1~3 will have to be ready from your part however the rest will be sent to you through us
- One of the following 1) a copy of your University diploma apostilled by the State Capital or 2) Copied diploma (A Korean Consulate has to apostille the notarized copy of your degree)
- A copy of an Apostilled Criminal Record
- 4 passport sized photos
- Self medical form
- Visa application form
- Copy of your passport
- Copy of your resume

Most jobs will give the following perks and salaries
Kindergarten + Elementary positions
* Working days:Monday to Friday (some schools may ask for Saturdays for some events also)
* Working Hours : 9am to 6pm
* Monthly Salary: Starting salary: 2.4 million won~ 2.8 million won
With experience: 2.6 million won upward
* Housing included or may give a housing allowance
* Vacation: 11 days or more
* Benefits: One way or with return airfare, severance, pension and national health insurance
Elementary, Middle and High School positions
* Working days:Monday to Friday (some schools may ask for Saturdays also)
* Working Hours : 1pm-9pm /2pm to 10pm
* Monthly Salary: Starting salary: 2.3 million won~ 2.8 million won
With experience: 2.4 million won upward
* Housing included or may give a housing allowance
* Vacation: 11 days or more
* Benefits: One way or with return airfare, severance, pension and national health insurance
Adult positions
* Working days:Monday to Friday (some schools may ask for saturdays also)
* Working Hours : Hours may vary, could be a Split shift
* Monthly Salary: Starting salary: 2.25 million won~ 2.8 million won
With experience: 2.4 million won upward
* Housing included or may give a housing allowance
