Hanyang YK Intercollege, which operates the School of General Studies at Hanyang University Seoul Campus, is recruiting research fellows to support the operation of the integrated foundational curriculum and the development of educational content.

Course in charge: Systems Thinking and Design Thinking,
Unified Systems Science Lab (Physics), etc.

· Makerspace Operations & Technical Instruction: Responsible for operating the makerspace and providing hands-on technical guidance (e.g., 3D printers and related equipment)

· STEM Convergence Content Development:
Planning and developing hands-on curricula for circuit design and sensor control using platforms such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi

· Prototyping Support:
Providing technical guidance to help students translate ideas into fully functional working prototypes

Engineering Design Manager

(Art / Design track)

Open to all majors

(Preferred field: Design, Art, Architecture)

Course in charge: Systems Thinking and Design Thinking

· Convergence Design Coaching: Supporting project planning and enhancing design quality through the application of visual, product, and service design methodologies

· Creative Project Mentorship: Guiding students in transforming artistic ideas into tangible works through appropriate artistic techniques and creative practices

· Facilitation of Design Thinking: Conducting creative critique and feedback sessions through small-group tutoring, covering the full process from problem definition to solution development

· Planning and developing social transformation–focused content through the formation and evolution of culture

Science Manager

Course in charge: Unified Systems Science
(Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

· Planning and operation of foundational science lectures and lab content
· Development of demonstration materials and practice modules for integrated basic science concepts
· Operation of small-group tutoring and feedback sessions
· Other administrative tasks of the center

3. Qualifications

• Holder of a master’s or doctoral degree in a related field
• High proficiency in English (able to teach and communicate in English)
• Capability and interest in educational content development and student tutoring
• Valid visa: E-1 or F type Visa holders with near or native English speaker proficiency

4. Working Conditions

• Contract period: 1 year (extendable up to 2 years for master’s-level and up to 6 years for doctoral-level fellows, based on evaluations)
• Working hours: Mon–Fri, 08:30–17:30 (shortened hours may apply during vacation periods)
• Salary: In accordance with Hanyang University regulations (varies by degree and experience)
• Expected start date: Early March 2026 (negotiable)

5. Screening Process

• 1st round: Document screening
• 2nd round: Interview (only for those who pass the 1st round; details to be notified individually)
• Final results: Notified individually after interviews
