Kindergarten & Elementary Homeroom Teacher

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Working Hours: 09:00–17:50 [Kindergarten Position]
  • Location: Dongtan (Hwaseong) or Gwanggyo (Suwon)
  • Start Date: March, 2026
  • Teaching Hours: Approximately 26 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits

  • Kindergarten Salary: 2.5–2.9 million KRW (Based on experience)
  • Vacation: Kindergarten: 13 days + 2 paid sick days
  • Housing: housing provided or housing allowance of 500,000 KRW

Qualifications & Requirements

  • E-2 or F-series visa holder (E-2 visa sponsorship available)
  • Bachelor’s degree (3–4 years minimum)
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Preferred: Valid teaching license and experience in international or bilingual settings

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement syllabus, unit plans, rubrics, and weekly lesson plans aligned with GCIS academic standards
  • Assign consistent homework and provide timely, constructive feedback
  • Design assessments, projects, and evaluations that foster student growth
  • Communicate proactively with parents regarding student progress
  • Prepare termly progress reports and report cards
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide events
  • Attend Parent–Teacher Conferences and other GCIS community programs
