Welcome, and thank you for your interest in our school.

We currently have two full-time foreign teacher positions available out of our four full-time positions. One position starts in April 2026, and the other starts in May 2026. We are genuinely happy and excited to welcome new teachers to our team.

POINTS AT A GLANCE
• 2 full-time positions available
• Start dates: April or May 2026
• Stable, long-established school

Our school was founded in 2002, and the building you’ll work in is large, modern, and well maintained. The current building has been in use since 2009. Because we have worked with foreign teachers for over 24 years, we have built a system that is clear, supportive, and easy to adjust to.

WHY TEACHERS STAY HERE
• Over 24 years of experience with foreign teachers
• Organized system and smooth daily flow
• Easy-going schedule, not rushed

One thing teachers often mention is the location. The school is in the west–south area of Seoul, and unlike many schools, it is in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. There is very little traffic noise, which makes a real difference in your daily work environment.

LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS
• West–south Seoul
• Quiet and calm area
• Rare peaceful setting in the city

The housing we provide is also something our teachers truly appreciate. The apartment is near Oryu-dong Station (Line 1), only a five-minute walk from the subway. It takes about 15 minutes to commute to the school by bus, and it is very convenient to reach other areas of Seoul. Both Gangnam and Gangbuk are about 40 minutes away by subway.

HOUSING SNAPSHOT

• 5-minute walk to subway
• 15-minute commute to school
• Easy access to all areas of Seoul

Many current and former teachers say they love the housing for its location, condition, and features. The apartment includes modern appliances such as an LG Styler steam closet, which helps sanitize and refresh clothing, as well as a washing machine. Actual photos of the housing will be shared during the interview.

Now, about the working schedule.

The full-time working hours are: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

WORK SCHEDULE SUMMARY
• No weekends
• Two shorter days each week
• All national holidays off

There are two vacation periods each year, one in summer and one in winter. Each vacation is nine days long, including weekends.

You will teach kindergarten classes every day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Each class is scheduled for 30 minutes, but the actual teaching time is about 25 minutes, with short breaks for restroom and water.

KINDERGARTEN TEACHING

• Class length: 30 minutes
• Real teaching time: about 25 minutes

Lunch starts at noon. From 12:00 to 12:20 p.m., you will help the Korean teacher serve lunch to the students. After that, you will have a full one-hour lunch break from 12:20 to 1:20 p.m. This break is completely personal time. Lunch is provided every day, and our foreign teachers consistently say they really enjoy the meals.

LUNCH & BREAKS
• Lunch provided daily
• One full personal lunch hour
• Multiple breaks during the day

Afternoon classes begin at 3:30 p.m. They end at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at 6:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

In kindergarten, you will teach students aged 5 to 7. The approximate breakdown is: 7-year-olds: 33 percent
6-year-olds: 50 percent
5-year-olds: 17 percent
In the afternoon, you will teach students between the ages of 8 and 13.

STUDENTS
• Kindergarten: ages 5–7
• Afternoon classes: ages 8–13

One of the strongest points of our school is the atmosphere among coworkers. We have seven Korean English teachers who have international backgrounds and university experience, and they work very well with our foreign teachers. Including you, there are four foreign teachers in total, and the team is friendly and supportive.

WORK ATMOSPHERE
• Friendly and cooperative staff
• Strong teamwork
• Low-stress environment

Unlike many other schools, we intentionally provide two or even three breaks during the day. This allows teachers to rest, reset, and prepare properly for the next class. Our foreign teachers often say this makes a big difference in how they feel at work.

To work with us, you will need a criminal background check and a minimum four-year college degree. Both documents must be apostilled for the E-2 visa. The monthly salary ranges from 2.4 to 2.6 million won, depending on experience.

We provide health insurance, severance pay, and a one-way airfare reimbursement after completing a one-year contract. This airfare benefit applies if you return to your home country without extending your E-2 visa.

We look forward to meeting teachers who want a stable, respectful, and comfortable place to work.
