Seeking a Native English Teacher

Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, Korea, (near Yonsei University)

Hello, I’m the manager at Lion English. We are located in Seodaemun-gu near the Hongdae and Sinchon areas. Our vision is to create an enjoyable learning environment that encourages participation and inspires children to study English. We focus on young learners at elementary school level and have designed a curriculum aimed at preparing our students for Cambridge YLE assessments. We are looking for a fun, hard-working person to join our friendly team. Our team consists of 3 foreigner teachers and 3 bilingual Korean teachers.

Start date:  3rd of March (Negotiable)

Job Description:

Full-time Or Part Time native English teacher responsible for teaching elementary students.

Full Time : Monday – Friday: 12:30pm – 7:50 pm 

Teaching hours:  Up to 5 ~5.5  hours per day 

Part Time: Tuesday and Thursday  : 1:30pm ~ 6:30 pm

Candidate requirements: 
Currently in Korea with F-type visa only
Bachelors Degree or higher

Experience:

Some teaching experience required, working with young students preferred. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a love of working with children. You should have a good understanding of how to manage a classroom and the flexibility to manipulate lessons to meet the individual needs and levels of students. Patience, compassion, and the desire to build strong relationships with your students is important. Enthusiasm and energy to incorporate into your lessons and the creativity to make learning fun.

                                                                                                 

Position Benefits include: 
Salary: Full Time: over 3.2 million won  , depending on experience
Paid vacation: (Summer Vacation and Winter Vacation) + national holidays 

Part Time:  40,000 won / per hour
