Position Details

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. The instructor is expected to teach English classes for conversational & academic purposes.
2. Beginning Salary: 2,900,000 KRW per month
3. Overtime pay: 40,000 won per teaching hour
4. A 7-week session (for 2 months as a unit) is run, totaling to 6 sessions a year.

※ may exceed one or two days depending on public holidays.

5. Teaching hours: 140 hours per session
6. About 7 days following the completion of each session is allocated as a session break; usually, vacation is thus estimated to be about 30 days a year.
7. The contractual period of employment will be from March 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Native speaker of English.
2. M.A. TESOL, M.Ed. and/or Linguistics preferred. B.A. in relevant field (ELT) with TEFL/TESOL Certificate considered.
3. Previous EFL teaching experience to adults (experience in Korea preferred). Over 2 years of English teaching experience is preferred (university experience is preferred).
4. As of January 2026, the applicant must be residing and working in Korea.
