E-Gate Language Gate is looking for qualified ESL Teachers for partner schools in Hanoi City and Bac Ninh Province for the 2026–2027 academic year.

• This position is suitable for teachers who are looking for stable school-based teaching, daytime working hours, prepared teaching materials, HR support and long-term cooperation in Vietnam.
• Teachers will normally be assigned to one main teaching area. The proposed location, schedule and school level will be discussed clearly during the recruitment process.

• Teaching rate: Upto 550.000VNĐ NET per confirmed teaching hour
• Work Permit, TRC and visa support, subject to legal eligibility
• Teaching materials, lesson plans and PowerPoint lessons provided where applicable
• Vietnamese teaching assistants or school staff support in school-based classes
• HR and academic team support during onboarding and teaching assignments

TEACHING LOCATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

• Teachers will normally be assigned to one main teaching school/area based on qualifications, experience, availability, legal document status and project requirements.
• Teach English to students aged 6–18
• Deliver communicative English lessons using provided curriculum and PowerPoint materials
• Adapt activities to different student levels and classroom contexts
• Work professionally with Vietnamese teaching assistants, Vietnamese teachers and school staff
• Support school activities, English clubs, demo classes, training sessions or school events when required
• Follow school regulations, teaching schedules, classroom rules and professional conduct requirements
• Maintain professional communication with the HR team, academic team and school representatives

WORKING SCHEDULE

Full-time positions:

• Mainly daytime school hours
• Usually Monday to Friday and/or Saturday morning, depending on the school timetable
• Expected workload: approximately 70–100 confirmed teaching hours per month
• Suitable for teachers looking for stable school-based teaching during the academic year

Part-time positions:

• Flexible schedule based on class needs and teacher availability
• Suitable for teachers already in Vietnam with available teaching time
• Priority may be given to teachers with valid legal documents and current availability in Hanoi or nearby provinces

REQUIREMENTS AND FIRST-STAGE APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

Essential:

• Degree and teaching certificate, if available
• Current visa, TRC or Work Permit (if any), if currently in Vietnam
• Your current location and available start date
• Professional attitude and willingness to work in Vietnamese school environments
• Ability to provide required documents for Work Permit processing in Vietnam
• Native English-speaking teachers from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa
• European and other non-native English-speaking teachers with strong English proficiency and suitable teaching qualifications
• Teachers currently in Vietnam or able to relocate to Vietnam
• Candidates with documents ready for Work Permit processing
