★Direct Hire★ ESL Teacher (Full-Time, September 2026) | Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea
DONGDAEMUN POLY is looking for ESL teachers for Summer 2026! Situated in central Seoul, Dongdaemun provides an excellent work and living environment. Our campus currently hosts around 9 foreign teachers from the United States, Australia, and Canada, fostering a professional and supportive relationship among staff, teachers, and students.
Poly is a well-established English academy network with a structured curriculum, academic timelines, and clearly set systems. The academic programs also come with built-in training resources provided to help foreign teachers effectively navigate daily teaching expectations. DONGDAEMUN POLY also has a robust and experienced team of Korean teachers and academic counselors/coordinators that provide support for both students and foreign teachers.
Position: Native English Instructor
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: 1 year (full-time)
Working Hours: MON~THUR 9:30am - 6:50pm / FRI 9:30am - 6:05pm (No weekend classes)
**45min lunch & 1hr break included
Type: Kindergarten– Elementary School (4-12 years old – international age)
Class Size: maximum 12 students
Class length: 40 minutes
Curriculum & Materials: Provided (only simple preparation required before class)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: starting at 2.6 million (negotiable based of experience)
- Single furnished housing or Housing allowance (400,000 KRW monthly)

Qualifications:
- Native English speaker from the US, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia
- Eligible for an E-2 visa or F-visa holders (i.e. F-4, F-5, F-6) - Gyopos welcome!
- Valid passport with at least 13 months remaining
- BA degree from an accredited 4-year university or college
- Genuine interest in teaching young learners
- Willingness to learn and work in a multicultural environment
Preferred:
- Individuals currently residing in South Korea
- Experience with teaching or working with preschool to elementary aged students
- Teaching or Education degree/certification and/or TEFL/TESOL certification
