English teacher - Gwangju city

An academy located in Gwangju is looking for a passionate English teacher with a neutral accent  to join the academy.

Job Overview:

1. Monday- Friday (9am - 6pm)  including preparation, class teaching. The Teacher's schedule will be assigned by the school’s director or supervisor. Generally, teachers whose classes begin earlier, finish their working schedule earlier.

2. Kindergarten and elementary students.

3. The school has a set curriculum so all teaching material is provided.

Benefits

1. Free furnished apartment (The Teacher is required to pay for the monthly utilities)

2. Korean income tax, National Medical Insurance will be withheld from the monthly salary.

3. 2 weeks standard vacation days, additional days are public holidays and red days.

4. Airfare provided (one way)

5. 1 week paid training for teachers with no experience.

6. Severance pay equivalent to 1 month’s salary on completion of contract.

Salary & Starting date

Starting salary is 2.3 - 2.4 million won (Negotiable depending on experience)
