edm Global Campus is launching the Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level (IAL) programme in August 2026. We are currently looking for part-time teachers who can teach AS and A2 Level subjects in English.

We are particularly interested in teachers for the following subjects:

• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics

Contract Type

Part-time teacher, Freelancer.

Duration

Class starts in mid-August

Teaching Schedule and Class Format

Classes will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. (Consultation is available during the interview.)

It is a class twice a week for each subject, and the class time per session is 2 hours. Classes will be delivered in person in a small-group format at edm Global Campus.

Candidates who are able to teach both AS and A2 Level are preferred.

Remuneration

Hourly rate to be discussed, depending on teaching experience, subject expertise, and availability.

Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Teaching Pearson Edexcel International A Level subjects at AS and/or A2 Level
• Designing curriculum plans, assessments, and teaching materials for their subject
• Monitoring students’ academic progress
• Providing monthly student progress reports
• Giving academic feedback and guidance based on each student’s level and goals
• Preparing learning materials, assignments, mock assessments, and examination preparation resources where required

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should:

• Hold an F-type visa and currently reside in Korea

• Hold at least an undergraduate degree
• Have a relevant academic background or strong subject expertise in the subject they wish to teach
• Be able to teach their subject confidently in English
• For non-native English speakers, have English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 7.5 or above
• Have experience teaching A Level or equivalent international curriculum subjects
• Have experience teaching sixth-form, senior high school, or young adult learners in English
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students and parents

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

The following would be advantageous:

• At least 2 years’ experience teaching A Level
• Experience teaching both AS and A2 Level
• Experience teaching Pearson Edexcel IAL
• Experience with IGCSE, IB, AP, or other international curricula
• Experience designing curriculum, assessments, and teaching materials
• Experience in student mentoring and academic progress management
• Good judgement, problem-solving skills, diligence, and emotional and cultural awareness
• A supportive, energetic, and motivating teaching style
• Strong classroom presence and a good sense of humour

Recruitment Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and deliver a trial lesson.

Details of the trial lesson will be provided separately, depending on the applicant’s subject area and teaching experience.
