About eSOL Education
eSOL Education is an English education institution located in Pohang, South Korea. We are recruiting a full-time English teacher to work with K-12 school students (Grades 1–6). We aim to provide an engaging and supportive environment in which students can build their English skills and confidence.
Position Details
Employer: eSOL Education
Role: Full-Time English Teacher (Grades 1–12)
Workplace: 2F, Pohang Xi Atherton, Hakjam-dong, Buk-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea
Expected Start Date: November 2026; exact starting date negotiable
Workdays: Monday–Friday
Working Schedule: 2 PM – 10 PM.
Base Salary: KRW 2,600,000 – 3,000,000 per month, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
Contract: Initial one-year contract; detailed terms to be set out in the written employment agreement.
Benefits and Compensation
Housing Allowance: KRW 600,000 per month.
National Health Insurance: Enrollment and employer/employee contributions as applicable under Korean law.
National Pension: Enrollment and employer/employee contributions as applicable under Korean law and relevant exemptions or social security agreements.
Severance Pay: Provided to eligible employees under Korean law. Statutory severance is generally calculated using at least 30 days of average wages for each year of continuous service, subject to legal requirements; it is not necessarily identical to one month of base salary.
Paid Leave and Public Holidays: Provided in accordance with applicable Korean labor law and the employment agreement. Please inquire about the school’s vacation calendar and any designated closure days.
Qualifications
Required
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
Native English Speaker (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa)
Visa & Work Authorization: Applicants must currently reside in South Korea and hold a valid visa or immigration status that permits employment as an English teacher in Korea. Eligible applicants may include F-series visa holders with appropriate work authorization and current E-2 visa holders who are eligible to transfer to a new employer.
Visa Sponsorship: New E-2 visa applications and overseas visa sponsorship are not provided.
Contract Commitment: Ability to commit to an initial one-year employment contract.
Preferred
Prior English teaching experience with K-12 school students.
