About CREST English

CREST English is a growing English academy in Geomdan, Incheon, established in October 2024.

We currently have five British teachers, including two experienced Head Teachers, as well as Korean teaching staff and a Principal with 18 years of teaching experience. As we continue to grow, we are planning to welcome two additional native English teachers in 2027.

Teaching at CREST

You will teach from Monday to Friday.

• Monday–Thursday: Regular academic classes focusing on classroom learning, reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and textbooks
• Friday: Activity-based classes, enrichment activities, and Speech Days
• Small classes of up to 8 students
• Opportunities to teach both regular classes and 1:1 English lessons

Job Description & Conditions

Positions Available

We are planning to hire two additional native English teachers in 2027:

• March 2027: 1 position available
• June or September 2027: 1 additional position available

The second position will begin in either June or September 2027, depending on our staffing needs.

We are beginning our recruitment process early in order to find teachers who are the right fit for the CREST community.

Working Conditions

• Working days: Monday–Friday
• Working hours: 1:00 PM – 8:10 PM
• Teaching hours: 5 classes per day, 50 minutes per class
• 1:1 English lesson: A 40-minute 1:1 lesson may be included on some days, depending on the schedule
• Breaks: 10 minutes between classes

Students

• Kindergarten
• Elementary students
• 1:1 students ranging from kindergarten to adults

Class Size

• Maximum of 8 students per class

Salary

₩3.2–3.6 million per month

• Base salary: ₩2.6–3.0 million
• Housing allowance: ₩600,000

Final salary will depend on qualifications and teaching experience.

Housing

Teachers may choose between:

• A furnished studio apartment within approximately a 12-minute walk from CREST, or
• ₩600,000 monthly housing allowance

• Approximately 10 minutes' walk from Ara Station
• Approximately 30 minutes by subway to Hongik Univ. Station
• Direct bus services to Gangnam take approximately 1 hour

Geomdan is a newly developed residential area with modern facilities, parks, cafés, restaurants, and convenient public transportation.

Qualifications

Required

• Native English speaker
• Bachelor's degree
• Currently residing in Korea
• TESOL / TEFL qualification

Preferred

• Previous teaching experience in Korea
• Teaching-related qualifications
• Experience teaching young learners
• British nationality
