SSPS is looking for passionate, responsible, and creative native English teachers to join our growing team.

We are opening a new branch and are especially interested in teachers who would like to contribute their ideas, demonstrate their strengths, and grow professionally with the school.

Available Locations

1. SSPS Jeonju

Location: Near Jeonju Station
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Daily Schedule
8:30–9:00 Lesson preparation
9:00–9:30 Greeting and welcoming students
9:30–10:00 Morning circle time
10:00–12:00 Kindergarten English classes
12:00–1:00 Lunch break
1:00–3:00 Kindergarten English classes
3:00–5:00 Elementary English classes
5:00–5:30 Lesson preparation and classroom organization

2. SSPS Daegu

Location: Suseong-gu, Daegu
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Daily Schedule
9:00–9:30 Lesson preparation
9:30–10:00 Morning circle time
10:00–12:00 Kindergarten English classes
12:00–3:00 Lunch break, lesson preparation, and other scheduled school duties
3:00–4:00 Lesson preparation
4:00–6:00 Kindergarten English classes

Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary: KRW 2.3–3.2 million, depending on experience, qualifications, and assigned responsibilities
A structured curriculum is provided
All necessary teaching materials are provided
Teachers are only required to prepare and share a brief lesson plan based on the provided curriculum
Support from Korean teaching and administrative staff

A total of four weeks of scheduled breaks per year:
One week in May
One week of summer vacation
One week of autumn vacation
One week of winter vacation
The school is closed on Korean public holidays
Extended personal leave may be arranged when discussed and approved sufficiently in advance
Additional compensation will be provided for classes beyond the contracted teaching schedule
Severance pay equivalent to one month’s salary upon completion of a one-year contract, in accordance with Korean labor law

* Main Responsibilities

Teach English to kindergarten and/or elementary students
Follow the curriculum and educational direction provided by SSPS
Prepare and share brief lesson plans based on the assigned curriculum
Lead circle time and other age-appropriate classroom activities
Create an engaging, positive, and supportive classroom environment

Monitor students’ learning progress and development
Cooperate with Korean teachers and administrative staff
Participate in school events, meetings, and teacher training
Contribute ideas for curriculum development and educational content when needed

Qualifications
Native-level English proficiency
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Eligibility for an appropriate Korean work visa
A responsible and professional attitude

Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
Preferred Candidates

Preference will be given to applicants who:

Are currently residing in Korea
Can confirm and sign a contract during October
Hold a valid teaching certificate or teaching qualification
Have experience as a head teacher, lead teacher, or academic coordinator
Have experience in curriculum development, educational content creation, or R&D
Have previous experience teaching kindergarten or elementary students
Are enthusiastic about helping develop a newly opening school
