[DIRECT HIRE] Full-time English Teacher for a Prestigious Private Elementary School in Seoul

<Soongeui Elementary School Native English Teacher Recruitment (2^nd Semester, 2026)>

Soongeui Elementary School is a prestigious private elementary school located near Myeong-dong Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. We are seeking an experienced native English teacher to fill a position starting in September 2026. Applicants should be able to design and personalize lessons that support students’ development in various language and literacy skills. 1. Conditions

• Location: 10, Sopa-ro 2-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul
• Starting Date: September 1, 2026 (The new teacher will be asked to attend a one-day orientation during the last week of August.)
• Contract Period: September 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027 (Contract renewal for the following school year may be considered based on performance evaluation.)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Teaching Hours: 18 classes a week (40-minute classes)
• Salary: KRW 2.2 – 2.6 million per month (based on experience and qualifications)
• After-school Classes: 5 classes per week (2:20 p.m. – 3:05 p.m.), KRW 75,000 per class

2. Benefits

• 4 weeks of paid vacation in January and 2 weeks in February
• Housing Allowance: KRW 600,000 per month (No deposit provided by the school)
• National Health Insurance and Pension: Provided with a 50/50 contribution split

3. Requirements

• A native speaker of English with at least a Bachelor’s degree (Education, English, or Linguistics preferred)
• Currently living and working in Korea (Applicants from overseas will not be considered)
• Preference given to applicants with elementary teaching experience in Korea
• Eligible nationalities: USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland
• Holder of an E-2 or F-series visa

4. Selection Process
