We are a small private school looking for experienced, creative, and passionate English teachers. 

Hiring process: application submission, interview invitation, interview, job offer, contract review

Positions Available: Elementary Teacher

Starting Date: 2026 February 23

Working Hours: 8:30am - 17:30pm (hour break included) / Monday-Friday

Salary: Negotiations start at 2.5 (depends on experience and education)

Benefits: 

  • Housing in 서울시 강서구 or 경기도 한강신도시 area or 400,000 monthly housing allowance
  • 26 days of paid leave, plus national holidays

Requirements:

  • F visa, E-2 
  • 2 years or more of experience

Duties:

  • Preparation for each class (lesson and supplemental materials)

  • Complete weekly lesson plans and ClassDojo posts

  • Attendance at scheduled staff meetings and workshops

  • Out-of-classroom activities with students

  • Grading, evaluating and counseling students

  • Responsibility for the safety and discipline of students 

  • Conferencing with parents of students in English and/or Korean

  • Preparing and participating in academic camps and intensive courses

Sejong International Academy (SIA) is a new school in Gimpo established as a specialized educational institution with the objectives of promoting student happiness, enhancing competency development, and fostering global leaders among talented and gifted Korean students.

SIA provides multiple programs for students who wish to excel in Korea and abroad. Our curriculum integrates the Korean National Curriculum, U.S. Common Core standards, and convergence education.

SIA is looking for experienced teachers committed to the social and intellectual development of our students. Since SIA is a small private school, teachers are very much involved in their students’ daily school life. All teachers are responsible for fostering students’ development.
