We are currently seeking to recruit teachers for Beijing Foreign Studies University Affiliated Schools and partner schools.

1. High School IGCSE/A-Level English Teacher — Rugao

State-owned, stable, full pay during winter and summer holidays, contract completion bonus

1. Location: Rugao, Jiangsu Province — a city in southern China, near Shanghai.

2. Subject: English.

3. Working hours: 40 hours per week. Teaching hours: no more than 22 lessons per week.

4. Salary: RMB 20,000–30,000 per month before tax.

5. Vacation salary: Full pay during winter and summer holidays.

6. Housing: A fully furnished apartment is provided.

7. Flight allowance: RMB 8,000 per year, increasing to RMB 12,000 per year from the third year.

8. Contract completion bonus: One month’s salary after completing two years of the contract.

9. Paid sick leave: 10 days per school year.

10. Start date: February 2027.

2. Kindergarten English Teacher — Zhengzhou

25 working hours per week, no office time — light workload and great work-life balance

1. Location: Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province. The city offers affordable everyday living.

2. Working hours: 25 total working hours per week, with no office time.

3. Student age group: 3–6 years old.

4. Salary: RMB 12,000–14,000 per month before tax during working periods.

5. Housing: RMB 2,000 per month in housing allowance or school-provided accommodation, separate from salary.

6. Holiday pay: Chinese public holidays are fully paid. During winter and summer breaks, no basic salary is paid; accommodation or the housing allowance continues.

7. Education — either of the following:

   • A bachelor’s degree or above in English, language-related studies or education, awarded in any country; OR

   • Graduation from an institution in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland or South Africa, with no restriction on major.

8. Start date: February 2027.

With accommodation or a housing allowance provided, this role combines practical living support with a good work-life balance.

3. English Teacher at a Public Primary School — Zhengzhou

No more than 15 teaching hours per week — light workload and more time for life

1. Location: Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province.

2. Working hours: Up to 15 teaching hours per week, with one office day per week.

3. Student age group: Primary school students aged 6–12.

4. Salary: RMB 13,000 per month before tax during term.

5. Housing: School-provided accommodation or RMB 2,000 per month in housing allowance.

6. Holidays: Extra-long winter and summer holidays. Chinese public holidays are fully paid. During winter and summer holidays, RMB 3,000 per month is paid, plus housing or the housing allowance.

7. Insurance: Commercial medical insurance, including 24/7 bilingual assistance, reimbursement for eligible outpatient, emergency and inpatient expenses, and advance payment support for eligible hospital admissions, subject to policy terms and insurer approval. Chinese social insurance is not provided.

8. Start date: ASAP.

4. Top-Tier Kindergarten in Beijing — The Capital of China

RMB 20,000–30,000 after tax, housing support included, paid winter and summer holidays

1. Salary: RMB 20,000–30,000 per month after tax, including RMB 4,000 per month in housing support.

2. Insurance: Medical insurance provided.

3. Holidays: Chinese national holidays, plus three weeks of paid winter holiday and two weeks of paid summer holiday.

4. Start date: February 2027.
