Reading Tree Academy in Suji is looking to hire a new teacher for the upcoming school year starting on March. We are a small academy that isn't a franchise. That means it's only one location and not part of a massive chain with dozens of academies spread across the country. It's just us, and we've been going strong since 2021 with more than 100 students enrolled. If you'd like a smaller, more relaxed teaching experience, please keep reading! The job details are below.

Location:

Yongin-si, Suji-gu, near Seongbok Station on the Shinbundang Subway Line

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 2pm-7pm, except for Wednesday, 3pm-7pm

Making it a total of 24 hours a week, as no prep time is required

Salary & Benefits:

3.0 million ₩ per month

Full Benefits - Standard 50/50 Health Insurance & Pension, Severance provided

No housing is provided

Vacation:

5 weeks predetermined by academy's schedule

Preferred Starting Date:

March 2026 (But we can possibly be flexible) 

Student Age & Class Size: 

Elementary School with a maximum class size of 8 students

Qualifications:

Must be one of the 7 qualified native English-speaking counties. Must be in Korea already. Must have prior teaching experience.
