Teach English in Uzbekistan (2026–2027)

Recruitment by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan (MoPSE) through Minecraft Consulting Pvt Ltd.

Uzbekistan offers an exciting opportunity for English language teachers seeking international experience, professional growth, and cultural immersion. Position Overview: The Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan is recruiting qualified English teachers for public secondary schools across the country. Contracts run from September 2026 to May 2027, with the option of renewal.

Eligibility Requirements.
Applicants must:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
Possess an internationally recognised English teaching qualification such as Trinity CertTESOL, CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, TESL or equivalent.
Have at least one year of English teaching experience 
Be willing to teach up to 20 hours per week and participate in 8 hours of extracurricular activities weekly.
Be available to relocate to Uzbekistan by the end of August 2026.

Salary & Benefits:
Monthly salary: USD 1,500–3,500 (depending on qualifications and experience)

Teaching Responsibilities:
Teach English to students aged 11–16 years (Grades 7–11).
Deliver engaging, communication-focused lessons.
Plan lessons and prepare teaching materials.
Assess student progress and maintain classroom management.
Support students in achieving language learning goals.
Conduct two professional development sessions annually for local teachers.
Facilitate English clubs, workshops, seminars, and other extracurricular activities.

Workload:
20 teaching hours per week
8 extracurricular activity hours per week

Comprehensive Support
Teachers receive extensive assistance throughout their placement, including:
A local assistant teacher in every classroom
Visa and registration support
Help opening bank accounts
Guidance on settling into daily life in Uzbekistan
Ongoing in-country support

Safeguarding Requirements. Successful applicants must provide:
A valid Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) or DBS check
Two professional references
