Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology (GNTECH) ( is accepting applications for a one-year renewable position beginning March 1, 2020.

GNTECH is located in south central Jinju and has a small campus with a close-knit feel. Classes are small with a maximum of 25 students per class. The International Exchange and Language Education Center offers multiple classes for students to partake in global activities and participate in conversation classes throughout the year. Students are invited to attend overseas language centers in order to provide a more well-rounded education for the future. University English classes are taught weekly and offer students an opportunity to learn proper conversation and speaking skills with native-speaking English teachers. Teachers and staff are always warm and willing to help one another as well as assist students in any way they can. The university offers a laid-back and friendly atmosphere for teachers and students to allow for studentsí maximum success in their fields of study.

LOCATION: 33 Dongjin-Ro, Jinju, Gyeongnam, Republic of Korea
- 3hrs 30mins (by bus) away from Seoul
- 1hr 30mins (by bus) away from Busan

- Position: Full-time Native English Lecturer (650hrs/year)
- Contract period: 2020.3.1.~2021.2.28. (negotiation may be needed)

- English native speaker (from U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa) with a Bachelorís, Masterís, or Doctorate Degree
- Possess an E-2 Visa or can qualify for an E-2 Visa
- Those who have teaching experience in Korea are much preferred

- 6 weeks paid vacation (3 weeks per vacation)
- Housing allowance will be added to monthly payment (0.4~0.5M)
- Subsidized health insurance

- Salary: 2.2M~2.3M per month
- Total 650 hours of teaching hours per year, plus editing, work-related responsibilities, and office hours
