Gyeonggi-do Institute for Language Education (GIFLE) is a government supported teacher-training and professional development institute.
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and highly-skilled educational coordinator who is both fluent in English and Korean to join our organization GIFLE.

3. Position: Native Instructor Coordinator
4. Start date: End of March or beginning of April, 2019 (negotiable)
5. Position requirements and duties
a. Knowledge and experience of curriculum design and material development for English training programs
b. Teaching experience to cover our English instructors whenever required
c. Administrative duties –including translation and document writing such as contracts and advertising
d. Management and hiring of English instructors
e. Editing skills for English training textbooks and materials
f. Administrative support for on campus training programs and promotion of international partnership
g. Support for English-speaking native instructors during on campus English programs and life including housing, immigration and other personal needs
h. Writing and handling of official Korean documents

6. Work Conditions
- 5 days a week, Monday to Friday (excluding national holidays), from 9am till 6pm (lunch hour between noon ~ 1pm)
- Work on Saturdays throughout the year depending on the programs
(approximately 8~10 times)
- Starting wage at 2,700,000 won/month plus 100,000 won/month rural allowance
- 20 days of paid holidays
- One-time settlement allowance of 300,000 won
- 50% of health insurance
- On campus furnished housing
* Starting date is flexible.
* One-year contract position (renewable depending on performance)

7. Qualification required
a. Must be fluent in BOTH Korean and English. Must be able to interpret and translate between Korean and English, host events, facilitate communication between staff, and have a citizenship to one of the 7 countries using English as official language (US, Canada, U.K, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Australia)
b. One of these has to be met:
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience with bachelor's degree in English Education (major in Teaching, TESOL, Second Language Studies)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience with bachelor's degree in any discipline + TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience with teacher's License
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with master's degree (with major in English education either for bachelor’s or master’s degree)

- 영어교육 관련 학사 소지자 + 관련 교육경력 3년 이상
- 학사 소지자 + TEFL/TESOL/CELTA + 관련 교육경력 3년 이상
- 본국 교사 자격증소지 + 관련 교육경력 3년 이상
- 석사 소지자(학사/석사 중 관련 학위 1) + 관련 교육경력 2년 이상

c. Korean or international driver’s license would be considered an asset.
