Our hagwon is looking for a native speaker to start in March. Information is as follows:
Name: American English Talk
Location : Okjung New City, Hangil Plaza, Yangju-si, South Korea (north of Uijeongbu)
General working conditions
1) Period of contract: 1 year
2) Students: kindergarten / elementary
3) Salary: 2.2~2.3 million Korean Won (negotiable)
4) Teaching hours: 120 hours per month, 6 hours a day; Teaching hours are from 2:30pm – 6.30pm five days a week. The other hours are for prep, but that’s when prep is necessary. One of the days may include a class that ends at 7pm, but if it does, the teaching that day would start at 3pm.
5) Medical Insurance, National Pension (50% paid by employer)
6) Housing provided, or extra pay if housing isn’t needed
7) Airfare: one-way ticket provided at the end of contract
8) Severance: one month salary after completion of contract
9) Vacation: 10 days a year, plus Korean national holidays
Accepting applications from teachers from native-speaking countries
Must have apostilled criminal background check/university transcripts/university degree
We are currently seeking a female teacher because we already have a male teacher, and we’d like to get somebody who can work with the kindergarten kids. Sorry guys!
