Great Hours / Foreign-Owned / Small Classes - Gongju, Korea

GEM (Global English & Math) Academy is a foreign-owned academy in Gongju, South Korea. Owned by an Australian husband and Korean wife, we have a fantastic team of staff and a friendly working environment. We like keeping our classes fun & enjoyable for both the students and teachers. This is a full-time position for English Conversation Teacher, with E2 sponsorship provided.

Job details:
- Teaching hours: 2pm - 6pm, Mon - Fri (Occasionally 2pm - 8pm on 1 or 2 days per week)
- Small classes (no more than 8 students per class)
- Elementary & Secondary school students
- Start date: 2nd January, 2019

Benefits:
- Salary: 2.0M KRW per month (negotiable)
- Furnished apartment provided
- Two-way flight ticket provided
- National pension paid, as well as health, unemployment and OH&S insurances
- Severance pay

Location: Gongju, the ancient capital of Baekje - a small city with a bustling nightlife and many beautiful historic sites nearby, as well as a great community of foreign English teachers. We’re a friendly bunch who are always eager to welcome the new arrivals and help them settle in.

Requirements:
- Native English speaker (from US, UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, Ireland or South Africa)
- Bachelor’s degree
- No criminal record
- Be an outgoing person, enthusiastic to teach kids
