April English is a well-established afterschool English hagwon in Bundang (20 minutes from Gangnam by subway). We are located at Jeongja Station (Google: Jeongja Station, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Korea), an affluent area with a lush river park and many cafes, restaurants and shops. Experience is, of course, preferred, however we welcome new graduates and experienced teachers to apply. All materials and curriculum are already established, and we provide a comprehensive 1-week training camp.

We have multiple positions starting in the end of August. Couple positions and single positions are available. Teachers who are already working in Korea on E2 or F4 (gyopo) visas are preferred.

1. Native English Speaker
2. A BA from accredited university
3. Energetic and loves working with children
4. Must have all required documents for visa process (National Background check with apostille and BA official copy with apostille) OR must currently be in Korea on an E2 or F4 visa

1. Salary 2.1+ million KRW monthly
2. 12 month or 6 month contract, with possibility of renewal
3. 1 month severance pay after successful completion of 1 year contract
4. 50% Medical insurance coverage through the National Health Insurance System
5. Pension contribution matched by us (refundable once you depart Korea)
6. Modern and clean housing provided
7. Single air ticket reimbursed in 3 blocks over the year
8. One week paid vacation in the winter and in the summer

Working Conditions:
1. Hours: 12:30PM to 8:30PM, Monday-Friday (no weekends)
2. Class size: 3-13, elementary students
3. Work very closely with your Korean co-teacher
