Substitute Teacher Urgently Needed in Seoul for March 12, 14, and 16 (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)

Dr. Harrison Lee’s IC English Center, an English language institute located in Seoul, is in urgent need of a native English-speaking substitute teacher who would be teaching communicative English language classes to Korean elementary school children on March 12 (Monday), 14 (Wednesday), and 16 (Friday) from 4 pm to 7 pm. If possible, the teacher could also additionally teach a middle school English class from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on March 12 and 16 (Monday and Friday). The Center is conveniently located near the Gireum subway station on line 4 (the blue line).

Teaching Dates and Times: March 12, 14, and 16 (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) from 4 pm to 7 pm (Additional middle school English teaching is available for 7 pm to 8:30 pm on March 12 and 16.

Location: Gireum-dong, Seoul (near the Gireum subway station on line 4)

Remuneration: 35,000 won per hour

Classes to Be Taught: Communicative English for elementary school students and, possibly, one middle school EAP (English for academic purposes) class

Qualifications:

The candidate must

1. hold a valid passport and a baccalaureate (bachelor’s) or a higher degree.
2. be a native speaker of North American English.
3. currently reside in Seoul or its vicinity.
4. have EFL teaching experience with elementary school children in a school/language institute setting.
5. have a positive outlook and energetic demeanor.
