Description:

Oh Yes English School is located in Bangebae. Bangbae is located on the south side of Seoul. It is less than a 10-minute subway ride to Gangnam.
We are looking for either a PART-TIME or FULL-TIME TEACHER, not a babysitter. We believe that each teacher brings a very different and creative teaching style and personality into each classroom and shouldn’t be constrained by a textbook. We have a small English staff and we are looking for a team player and someone who is willing to be creative and flexible. As a side note: THIS SCHOOL WORKS FOR STUDENTS, NOT FOR PARENTS.

Requirements:

Native English speaker (American, English, Canadian, or Australian speaker) Male is preferred BUT not a requirement.
Must be Currently living in South Korea
BA/BS degree or higher
1 year of teaching experience

Start date:

April 1st, 2018 - All contracts are for 1 full year. “Note that there will be a 2 week training period before your official start date”
No. classes
Full-time 20 - 25 classes per week. For part-time, the number hours can be discussed. Class time ranges anywhere from 30 mins to 50 mins. Age groups ranging from Kindergarten to Elementary.

Working time:

9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. No weekends.

Pay:

Full-time “ 2.0m – 2.3m” Part-time “negotiable upon discussing the number of hours” These numbers are based on the minimum requirement and can be NEGOTIATED depending on experience

Payday:

25th of each month, no exception.

Settlement and Housing allowance:

Full-time employees will receive an allowance.
2 week training period before your official start date”
*You will be paid 70% of a monthly salary for complete your training!!!*

Vacation:

Week-long summer/winter vacation, in addition to all national holidays

Medical:

50% contributed by your employer, 50% contributed by you.
Pension 50% contributed by your employer, 50% contributed by you. American, Canadian & Australian teachers can get 100% back at the end of the employment contract.

Severance pay:

Equal to one month's pay, provided at the completion of the employment contract.

Other benefits:

A yearly curriculum book will be provided which provides information about each monthly lesson plan. Hands-on training with our current English teacher who has worked here for 4 years. FREEDOM to allow you to create the lessons and classroom environment you want. No deadlines completion of materials
