Anderson English Academy in Mokpo is looking to hire a female native English teacher who is dedicated to teaching elementary students in a small-class setting

Start date: December 2017 or January 2018

Location: Mokpo (Namak/YongHae area)

Contract duration: One year (renewable)

Hours: M-F approx 2:00 to 7:00 pm or 2:00 to 8:30 pm (average of 26 hours per week)

Salary: 2.1 million won per month plus airfare and housing. One month severance pay will be given upon completion of the contract

Students and curriculum: Average of 8 students or fewer per class. Classes are mostly elementary school students, with a few middle school classes and potentially one or two adult classes.

Focus is on speaking and writing

Textbooks are provided with freedom to supplement with teacher-created PPTs, worksheets, games, etc.

The teacher sees each class twice per week.

Anderson English opened in October 2011. The environment of our academy is personable and friendly. Our staff is hard-working and our students are eager to learn and they are a joy to teach. We are looking for experienced and highly-motivated teachers who enjoy working with children.

Applicants who have teaching experience in Korea and the necessary documents for an E-2 visa (notarized and apostilled degree and criminal background check) will be at an advantage.
