Female Teacher Needed in Cheon-An City , Korea

Looking for a female native teacher !

* Preferred American or Canadian
* teaching adults
* working only 4days a week!
* located 1 hour drive from Seoul
* provided accomodation

OHA Employment Contract

OHA English Academy (Miss kang: 010-7107-7741)
Cheonan-chun 8gil-11, Dongnam-Gu, Cheonan-Cty, South Korea

1. JOB
an English Instructor for adults at oha.

The period of employment will be ( 9.1. 2017 -8.31. 2018)

The basic pay is 2,000.000 KRW per month. The employee is required to work 5 classes (70 minutes) a day. The weekday class is a.m 9:40-10:50. 11:20-12;30. p.m 5:00-6:10, 6:40-7:50, 8:20-9:30 from Monday to Thursday (16 days a month, friday off). The class time can be changed a little according to schedule.
*Saturday class (a.m10-p.m1/ 3 hours/ pay 400,000won) is optional.

4. Pension
OHA will cover the pension by 50 %.
The teacher should pay the tax according to the Korean law.

The employee will not work for all national holidays.
When any month has more than 16 week days a month, the employee will enjoy time off as a vacation.

A single apartment is offered. The employer is responsible for the rent, key money (deposit), and basic appliances. The employee pays for utilities (gas ,water, etc ). if the employee find a room for himself,
The employer can give a 400,000 won monthly as a room fee.

When the employer comes from out of Korea. A one-way plane ticket (800.000 won) to South Korea is provided after arrival in Korea.
If the teacher already stay in Korea, the employer doesn't have to pay the airplane ticket.
If the employee resigns for whatever reason and does not finish one-year contract, then employee must reimburse the employer for the cost of 800,000 won.

Upon completion of the one-year contract, the employee will receive 2.000.000won as severance pay in accordance with Korean labor laws under the Labor Standards Act of 1997.

If the employee is absent from work due to illness or any other reasons, the employee has to make up for the classes.

The employer may immediately dismiss the employee for the following reasons:
a. Private class outside of school without permission of the employer.
b. Repeated failures to follow teaching guidelines and school policies.
c. Student¡¯s repeated complaints on the evaluation of teaching.

* if the employee leave from work for any reason, The employee should give the employer the release letter 2 months before leaving. Otherwise, the employee should deduct 1 month¡¯s pay as a penalty.
