Anyang Foreign Language High School (AFLHS) is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated English instructor to join our staff beginning in the fall semester on August 16th, 2017.

AFLHS is a private high school located in Anyang, a city of approximately 650,000 just outside of Seoul. Our students are some of the brightest in Korea. They are highly respectful and intensely motivated. Most of them graduate to elite universities such as Yonsei, Seoul National, and KAIST, as well as ones abroad. In general, our studentsí English ability is high, so our English instructors are able to speak freely with little communication difficulty in the classroom. Furthermore, class sizes are relatively small, the average being around 14 students, allowing the instructor more individual attention to their students.

For this fall, we are looking for one English instructor to join our staff. Teachers are responsible for teaching twenty 50-minute lessons per week. Additionally, there are optional AP, SAT, and TOEFL courses which can be taught as overtime at a rate of 50,000 won per hour. Standard office hours are from 7:45 a.m. to 3:50 p.m., Monday through Friday. Wednesdays, however, are typically short days as the native instructors are off at noon.
