IMMINENT 19- & 7-DAY SUMMER CAMP OPENINGS WITH CAMP KOREA - CALLING ALL KOREA-BASED ESL EDUCATORS

Posted By: Camp Korea Ltd. <HR@CK.co.kr>
Date: Tuesday, 4 July 2017, at 1:41 p.m.

Camp Korea, Korea’s oldest and still its best short-term camp provider for native English speaking ESL educators, are seeking immediate expressions of interest for two short-term camp options, a 19-day Seoul-based camp, with a start date of July 21, & a 7-day Yongin-based camp, with a start date of August 5. Please review the following & contact us as a matter of urgency if you're keen to join us this summer (details of how to apply follow both camp overviews).

CAMP 1 – DWIMS (DAEWON INTERNATIONAL MIDDLE SCHOOL) – JULY 21 TO AUGUST 8 (19 DAYS)

- Location || Junggok-dong, Gwangin-gu, Seoul.

- Reporting Date || The evening of July 20 or the morning of July 21.

- Camp Dates & Format || Staff orientation will be on July 21 & 22 with camp proper starting on July 24 & ending on August 8. July 23, 29, 30 & August 5 & 6 are off days for a total of 14 contracted work days. Six hours of classroom time a day approximately between the hours of 09:20 & 16:20. This is a commute camp meaning the students do not board at the camp; they return home each afternoon. There will be 12 classes with approximately 10-12 elementary students (Grades 1-6) in each class.

- Staff Accommodations & Notes || Shared accommodation will be provided. No private accommodation options available. A small daily commute will be required to reach the camp location. No stipend is paid for those Seoul-based applicants in a position to provide their own accommodation.

- Meals || Lunch will be provided on scheduled camps days.

- Salary & Tax Liability || Salary of KRW2,000,000 which is subject to applicable local taxes (typically 4.4%).

Provided/Included for the duration of the contract period:
- Two days of pre-camp staff orientation sessions (July 21 & 22)
- Camp apparel (t-shirt/polo shirt etc.).
- Workplace medical insurance.
- A great experience.

CAMP 1 APPLICATION CONSIDERATIONS - REQUIRED VISA CLEARANCE

1.1 F- & E-class Visa Holders
We especially welcome applications from those already with visa clearance, especially F-class visa holders & E-class visa holders with the required permission and E-class visa validity to allow them to endorse their visa.

1.2 Overseas/C-class Visa Applicants
Given the proximity of camp, it’s unlikely overseas C-4 visa applicants will have sufficient time to acquire the required visa. Overseas applicants needing to apply for a C-4 visa should only contact us if they are 1) familiar with the Korean visa application process & 2) already in possession of the full set of required documentation for submitting an immediate C-4 visa application. Please highlight your visa application state of preparedness when contacting us.
